Top Ten placing for St Fagans
St Fagans: National History Museum has been revealed as one of the UK’s top ten free attractions as voted by users of TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site.
The open-air Museum on the outskirts of Cardiff is Wales’s most popular heritage attraction with over 600,000 visitors annually. St Fagans contains over 40 buildings that have been moved from locations all around Wales and re-erected at the Museum; buildings include a post office, farmhouses and a medieval church.
Robin Gwyn, Director of Communications for Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales said: “Visitors from Wales and beyond have known for over 60 years that St Fagans is one of Europe’s best Museums and it is a privilege for the users of one of the world’s most popular travel websites to confirm this."
