Michael graduated from Buckinghamshire University with a Film and Media Studies degree in July 2003. Prior to joining Audiences Wales in September 2008, he worked at Media Wales Ltd for four years - first as an advertising executive and then moving onto editorial features and reviews, predominiately concentrating on the arts. Michael played a central role in developing Media Wales’ entertainment website, Cardiff What’s On.

Michael has written for a number of high profile publications and websites including Big Issue Cymru, RedHanded Magazine, Q Magazine, Living In Wales Magazine, Guardian Cardiff, Gigwise, The South Wales Argus and has also been a regular contributor to programmes on BBC Radio Wales. Michael is also a Welsh speaker and a board member of the Welsh music charity, Community Music Wales.

At Audiences Wales, Michael is responsible for the communication of arts information to the general public and arts professionals through the company’s two websites (Audiences Wales and What’s On Wales / Golwg ar Gymru). 

Michael is a member of the Arts Marketing Association.
