Dorothy James, Chair
Dorothy is a freelance arts consultant, specialising in project management and policy development. After six years working as a performer and youth theatre leader, she moved into theatre administration, working for Merseyside Young People’s Theatre, Hijinx and Made in Wales Stage Company. In 1993 she joined the staff of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and was Director of Resources and Administration from 1997 – 2006.
Dorothy was treasurer of the National Association of Youth Theatres for 6 years and has served as a member of the Advisory Panels for National Youth Arts Wales and the National Youth Theatre of Wales. She has also been a Board Member of Cardiff Arts Marketing and Y Cwmni Cyf, and member of WAPA’s Executive Committee.
