Rebecca Tamplin
Rebecca has worked in the arts and cultural industries for over thirteen years. She has been with Audiences Wales (previously Cardiff Arts Marketing) for six years, where she is responsible for quantitative and qualitative research programmes.
Since working at Audiences Wales, she has gained extensive research experience, including project management, competitive tendering, questionnaire design, desk research, data analysis, focus group facilitation and report writing. Specialist areas are qualitative research, branding, arts audits, and the museums and youth sectors. Key projects include branding research programmes for both National Museums Wales and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, customer circles for Wales Millennium Centre and several Wales-wide audits and evaluations on Youth and Community arts for the Arts Council of Wales.
Before joining Audiences Wales, Rebecca was the Marketing Development Manager for Marketing the Arts in Swansea and Carmarthenshire (MASC), a local authority/Arts Council of Wales joint initiative to develop a consultancy for the West Wales area, devising MASC’s corporate identity and overall strategy, and commissioning and managing research projects for the two counties.
She has also worked in a range of marketing roles for Derby Playhouse, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Sherman Theatre. She has a BA (Jt Hons) in French and Music from Cardiff University, is a member of the Arts Marketing Association and a full member of the Market Research Society.
