Audiences Wales increases attendance and participation in the arts and is the principle source of marketing and audience development expertise in Wales.

Audience Wales’ Aims:

• To build audiences through the provision of tactical and strategic support in partnership with arts organisations and other agencies
• To be the principal source of marketing and audience development knowledge and expertise in Wales
• To lead on the advancement of arts marketing in Wales
• To champion audience development within the arts industry and wider context
• To support the business performance of arts organisations in Wales

Audiences Wales provides a range of services which aim to deliver the organisation’s mission:

To provide strategic and tactical marketing support, services and expertise to enable arts organisations to build beneficial relationships with current and future audiences.

Our Sector Learning and Development and Consultancy and Support Services develop the knowledge, understanding and skills of arts organisations and enable them to address their challenges and maximise their opportunities.

Our Public Information Services provide cost effective opportunities for arts organisations to reach and communicate with arts attenders and enhance the impact of their marketing budgets. The range of services is unique in Wales and is aimed at supporting the ability of arts organisations to engage effectively with new and existing audiences.

Our Sector Information Services underpin our Learning and Development Services and help arts marketing professionals to develop their knowledge while developing the role of marketing in the arts.

Audiences Wales is funded by the Arts Council of Wales in partnership with the following Local Authorities: Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, and Torfaen.

• Adeiladu maint cynulleidfaoedd trwy ddarparu cefnogaeth dactegol a strategol mewn partneriaeth â mudiadau celfyddydol ac asiantaethau eraill
• I fod yn brif ffynhonnell arbenigedd a gwybodaeth meithrin cynulleidfaoedd yng Nghymru
• I arwain ar symud marchnata’r celfyddydau ymlaen yng Nghymru
• I bledio achos datblygu cynulleidfaoedd o fewn diwydiant y celfyddydau a chyd-destun ehangach yng Nghymru
• I gefnogi perfformiad busnes mudiadau celfyddydol yng Nghymru

Mae Cynulleidfaoedd Cymru yn darparu rhychwant o wasanaethau sydd â’r nod o gyflawni cenhadaeth y mudiad o:

Ddarparu cefnogaeth marchnata strategol a thactegol, gwasanaethau ac arbenigedd er mwyn galluogi mudiadau celfyddydol i adeiladu perthynas fuddiol a chynulleidfaoedd y presennol a’r dyfodol.

Mae ein Gwasanaethau Cefnogi a’n Datblygu Dysgu yn y Sector yn meithrin gwybodaeth, dealltwriaeth a medrau mudiadau celfyddydol a’u galluogi i fynd i’r afael â’r heriadau sy’n eu hwynebu a’u galluogi i fanteisio i’r eithaf ar eu cyfleon.

Mae ein Gwasanaethau Gwybodaeth Gyhoeddus yn darparu cyfleoedd cost effeithiol i alluogi mudiadau celfyddydol i gyfathrebu â’r rheini sy’n mynychu digwyddiadau celfyddydol a hybu effeithiolrwydd eu cyllideb farchnata. Mae’r rhychwant o wasanaethau yn unigryw yng Nghymru ac â’r nod o gefnogi gallu mudiadau celfyddydol i ymgyrraedd yn effeithiol at gynulleidfaoedd newydd yn ogystal â’r rheini sy’n bodoli eisoes.
